Mr. Douglas Edwards, 64, of Asheville, NC passed away March 14, 2023, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center.

Doug was a fireman, Jaycee, and worked at Lowes Home Improvement. He was born on June 21, 1958, to Estory Williams Edwards and the late Thomas Edwards in Buncombe County where he was a lifelong resident.

Doug is survived by his loving wife: Annette Bass Edwards, three sons: Nicholas Edwards, Travis Edwards, and Justin Edwards and his wife Dani, four grandchildren: Mason, Tyler, Aubrey, and Jaimee, and two brothers: Eugene Edwards and Larry Edwards and his wife Mary.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate Doug's life will be held in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
