: Douglas Lawson Fisher, 69, of 1068 Barnard Rd. passed away December 11, 2012. He is a native of Madison County and son of the late Carson and Vera Rice Fisher. Douglas was the Janitor at Hardees in Mars Hill.

He is survived by his wife Mary Suzanne Ramsey Fisher; brother Jack Fisher (Darlene) and three nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 14, 11:00 am at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Billy Murray will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jess Rice Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 13, 6 -8 pm.

Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
