Eddie Dean Hunter, age 72, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024. He was born on January 3, 1952 in Buncombe, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Ted and Lujeit Hunter.

In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his wife, Janis Hunter who died in 2009.

He is survived by his daughter, Mandy H. Williams (Shane); sisters, Debbie Goforth (Denny), Lisa Burlison (Phillip), and Kim Shelton (Kenny); and grandchild, Khloe Williams.

Eddie was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Dan Reeves and Reverend Grey Fisher will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

At other times the family will be at the home of his daughter, 19 Ebs Lane, Alexander, North Carolina 28801.
