Edgar Smith Dillingham, age 77, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He is the son of the late Jobe Gaston and Ella Virginia Ball Dillingham. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by is wife, Brenda Jean Cook Dillingham, and two brothers, Jobe Gaston Jr. and Harry Lee Dillingham, Sr. Edgar was a US Army Veteran.

He is survived by his children; Gary Dillingham (Stephanie), Robert Dillingham (Sue), Edgar Dillingham, Amanda Warren (Aaron) and Eddie Dillingham (Heather); sister, Betty Dillingham; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, June 7, 2021 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Steve Deaver will officiate. Burial will be follow in the Thomas F. Dillingham Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
