Edith Honaker Gunter 68, of Main Street passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Mission Hospitals – Memorial Campus. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Nannie Lou Evans Honaker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband ZG Gunter and a grandson Bryson Gunter who passed away in 2010.

She is survived by her eight children, Timothy Gunter (Della), Charles Gunter, Roger Gunter (Crystal), Mary Burnette (Dennis), Steve Gunter (Jamey) Daniel Gunter (Lana), Kelvin Gunter (Andrianne) and James Gunter; twenty-eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 pm Tuesday, February 21. 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, February 22 in the chapel, officiated by Rev. Louis Melton. Burial will follow in the Gosnell Cemetery.
