Edith Elizabeth Chambers Roberts, 68, of Easley, South Carolina, passed from this life to eternal life on February 22, 2021. Born October 31, 1952, she is the daughter of the late Bethel Phillips and Gerald Chambers. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Roberts; a daughter, Bethel Roberts; sister, Brenda Childs; brother, David Lingerfelt; and great granddaughter, Abby Batson.

She is survived by her two sons; Rev. James Roberts and wife Donna of Oneida, TN, and Scottie Roberts (Justin Gosnell) of Travelers Rest, SC; grandchildren, Megan Norton (Cody), Hope Haire (Grady), Amanda Caldwell, Brooke Craney (Nick), Brett Roberts (Amanda), and Paige Roberts; great grandchildren Harley, Kobe, Clayton, Emma, Addyson, Lillian, Braxton, Leah-Charlotte, Abbygail, Ayden, and Carolina Jane; a sister, Peggy Poole; a brother, Jessie Lingerfelt; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 11am Friday, February 26, 2021 at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Roberts officiating.
