Edna Rice Allman, 79, passed away at her home Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Jesse Karo And Thelma Ward Rice. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Roy Allman; sister, Martha Kate Rice and brother, Grady Rice. Edna was very active in her church, loved birds and spoiling her grandkids.

She is survived by a daughter, Kaye Allman; son, Alvin Allman (Vickie); grandchildren, Benjamin, Angel and Gideon Allman.

A funeral service will be held 3:00PM Friday, October 20, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverends Kevin Boone and Mendle Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
