Edna Mae Justice, 91, passed away on October 4, 2025. Born on May 19, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mamie (Hall) Dalton. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be remembered for her warm heart. She had a passion for sewing and quilting, creating handmade treasures for those she loved. She also found joy in working in her flower gardens and was well known for making some of the best biscuits around.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Justice; her son, Lorne Justice; two sisters, Frances Sneed and Helen Wilson; and a brother, Leon Dalton.
She is survived by her daughters: Debbie Hall (George), Maxine Rice (Ronald), Shirley Justice (Shane), Sandra Wykle (Ricky), and Vickie Allman (Alvin); her sons: Marshall Justice (Karen), Wayne Justice (Jackie), Grady Justice (Gaylyn), and Roger Justice. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Bennett; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Paul Sluder and Keith Waldroup will officiate. The burial will follow in Big Sandy Mush Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
