Edwin Delbert "Bud" Roberts, Jr. age 91 of Locust Grove Road passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021. He is the son of the late Edward and Lola Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Lela Holden Roberts who died in 1986. He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He is a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and retired from Coca Cola.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Grindstaff Roberts; daughters, Debra Burnett (Earl) and Cathy Jolley (Dana); sons, Johnny Grindstaff (Gail) and Jeff Grindstaff (Deb); grandchildren, Melissa Burnett, Stefanie Miles (Bubba), Ashley Watanabe (Ken), Heather Graham, Savanna and Gabriel Grindstaff; and a great grandson, Caleb Miles.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, September 19, 2021, in Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverends D. Harry Culbertson, Jr. and Brent Snyder will officiate. Military honors will follow. The family respectfully request family and friends wear a mask. The body will be available for viewing 1:00 -3:00PM Saturday, September 18, in Robbie Capps Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
