Eileen Griffin, of Mars Hill, age 86, passed away Sunday, May 03, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Vaughn and Carrie Briggs Fisher. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Griffin; brothers, Ralph, Fred, V.C., Howard Fisher; her sisters, Nina Reece and Iva Green. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Denise Griffin of the home; a son, Donny Griffin (Becky) of Mars Hill; sisters, Grace Buckner (Frank) of Alexander and Helen Griffin (Claude) of Mars Hill; a brother, Aubrey Griffin (Judy); grandchildren, Miranda Jackson and James Gosnell (Katrina), and great grandchildren, Bubba Gosnell, Sammi Gosnell and Jacob Jackson. A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 5th at Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church with Reverends Gary Coates and Keith Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Blue Ridge Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the John F.
