On Monday, January 29, 2024, Annette Lewis Austin continued in her journey from this life to another. A native of Madison County, Annette was a free spirit who was unapologetically herself who loved being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and the occasional cold beer.

Annette was preceded in death by her mother, Genell Hunter Lewis.

Left to cherish her memory is her father, Lester Lewis; daughter, Missy and her husband Joey; grandchildren, Kendall and Kashley White; sister, Tonya Sharpe (Mike); brothers, Rocky Lewis (Sonya) and Ronnie Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm Friday, February 2, 2024, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Mark Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bear Mountain that formed a bond with Net sitting outside with her, eating chocolate, and sipping on iced coffee. You know who you are!
