Eloise Minnie Foxx McHone, 96, of Mars Hill, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was the daughter of the late William and Ada McMahan Foxx and lived most of her life in Madison County.

In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McHone, daughter, Barbara McHone, a son, Billy McHone, four sisters, and two brothers.

Eloise is survived by two sons, Bobby McHone (Kathie), and Bernice McHone (Donna); grandchildren, Rebecca Powell (Brian), Maneeka McHone, Kenny McHone, Jamie McHone, and Andrew McHone; seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A burial will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Meadow Gap Cemetery.
