Eula Moore Rice, 76, of Mars Hill, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the daughter of the late Floyd and Clara Mars Moore. In addition to her parents, Eula is preceded in death by a sister, Azalee Moore, and a brother, Woodrow Moore.

Eula is survived by her daughters, Donia Rice and Melissa Rice Embler; sisters, Emily Moore and Zula Manos (John); brothers, Lester and Doug Moore; grandchildren, Dustin Embler (Melissa), Jaidyn and Joshua Embler; a great grandchild, Chloe Embler, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Ron Dodson will officiate. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
