Eva Marie Hilliard, of Mars Hill, passed away, October 16, 2015 at Mars Hill Retirement Community. She was a native of Yancey County and the daughter of the late Clyde Bailey and Eva Anders Cash. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ray Hilliard and brother, Stanley Bailey. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday, October 24, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverend Charlie Carroway officiating. The burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park, Candler, N.C. The family would like to thank Care Partners Hospice of Asheville and Mars Hill Retirement Community for the care they gave to Mrs. Hilliard.
