Eva Elizabeth McIntosh, 81, passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2025. She was born June 9, 1944, to the late Frank and Edna Metcalf McIntosh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Davis and her husband, Carroll Davis; and a special cousin, Iris English.

Eva was a lifelong resident of Madison County and was a teacher at Mars Hill Elementary School for 30 years. She received her bachelor's degree from Mars Hill University, and master's degree from Western Carolina University. Eva was known for her beautiful smile. She was a collector of many things, including angels, bears and dolls. Eva loved to send cards for all occasions to her family and friends, especially her church family. She was a lifelong member of Beech Glen Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for more than 40 years.

Eva is survived by her sister, Shirley McIntosh; nephews, Steven and Stuart Davis; great niece and nephews, Sara, Stellin, and Kurt Davis who were the joys of her life.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Stanley Peek, Shane Cassida, and Troy Rogers will officiate. Entombment will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
