Eveline Arrington Gosnell, age 86, of Mars Hill, passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1937, in Madison County. She was a daughter of the late Gerome and Ava Chandler Arrington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerome Gosnell; sister, Reba Arrington; and a brother, G.C. Arrington.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, James B. Arrington (Ann), and Ruben Arrington (Trulon); 6 grandchildren, Dawn, Elizabeth, Melinda, Emily, Tonya, and Donathan; several great grandchildren; as well as a special cousin, Michael Arrington; special friends, Janet Cody, Mary Woods, Eller Hensley, Janis Metcalf and Orle Norton.; and 3 nieces, Ava, Linda, and Jamie.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday September 3. 2023 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Raymond Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Meadow Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service.
