Faye R. Flynn, age 92, of Marshall, passed away Thursday August 24, 2023. She was born on May 1, 1931, in Madison County. Faye was a daughter of the late Burnette and Alice Wallin Reese.

Faye worked as a pharmacy technician and also worked for Microswitch. She will be remembered as a loving and generous mother and grandmother, as well as a cherished neighbor and community member. She was a member of Davis Chapel and formerly attended Walnut Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Flynn; son, Coy Flynn, Jr.; sister, Betty Thomas; and a brother, Walter James Reese.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shirley Kent (James); sister, Inez Dockery (Cuman); brother, Harold Reese; grandchildren, Kristy Kent, Jaime Kent (Joey Taylor); 1 great granddaughter, Eliana Reese Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday August 28, 2023, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Gerald Sprinkle will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service. A private burial will follow at the Price Cemetery, Marshall.
