Faye Metcalf Lloyd, 82, of 139 Ivy Ridge Church Rd., passed away October 6, 2017. She was daughter of the late Bruce and Zelda Shook Metcalf. Mrs. Lloyd was co-owner and operator of Discount Monument Center in Mars Hill, NC. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Greg Lloyd. Faye is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Winston Lloyd; sister Carolyn Bailey and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Monday, October 9, 2017 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Richard Lowe will officiate. The burial will follow in the Ivy Ridge First Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
