Fleet "Holden" Nix, Jr., age 63, passed away on July 2, 2024 at Mission Hospital. Holden was born February 7, 1961 to the late Fleet Holden Nix, Sr., and Carolyn Goforth Nix. He was also preceded in death by his brother, David Nix.

Holden was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Tarheels and Tennessee sports.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Carolyn Ramsey Nix; daughter, Alexis Nix; son, Bradley Nix (Michelle); two grandchildren, Ella and Easton Nix; and his three dogs, Cooper, Zeke, and Penny.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Steve Honeycutt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
