Florence Marie Messer Ford, age 70, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at John F. Keever Solace Center. She was a native of Buncombe County and daughter of the late Charles and Annis Robitson Messer. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Ford; sister, Patricia Duarte and grandson, Anthony Peel.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughter, Melissa Peel (Jeff); son, Jeff Ford; grandchildren, J.T. Peel (Katie), Chris Peel (Cheryl) and Trace Tschiffely; one great grandson, Corbin Peel and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Pastors Johnny Raines and Doug Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2:00PM prior to the service.
