Florence Cutshall Metcalf, age 97, of Culvin Creek Rd., passed away Tuesday March 30, 2021. She is the daughter of the late Bascom and Sophina Cutshall. In addition to her parents Mrs. Metcalf is preceded in death by her husband Earlis Metcalf, 8 sisters and 6 brothers.

She is survived by daughters, Shirley Metcalf, Joan Poole (Fred), Kathleen Reed and Linda Hayes; sons, Raymond "Butch" (Ginger), Gerald "Boss", Dwight "Buddy", Ricky "Stanky" Metcalf and Gene Metcalf (Janice); several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm Monday, April 5, 2021 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Henry "Hal" Norton officiating. The burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12- 2pm prior to the service.
