Florence Gregg Willis, 95, of Mars Hill, passed away in the early morning hours of January 29, 2026. She was born on July 18, 1930, in Buncombe County to the late Noble E. Gregg and Sue Mundy Gregg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Willis who passed away in 2024; sisters, Elizabeth Gregg, Virginia Gregg Crawford and Edna Gregg Whitt; brothers, Robert "Bob' Gregg and Horace "Ted" Gregg.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Eric Willis (Regina); sister, Catherine "Cathy" Stirewalt; grandchildren, Simone and Boden Larzelere.

Florence was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a love for all. A caretaker who enjoyed life. She worked with her husband in business and farming.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, February 2, 2026 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Stanley Peek will officiate. Burial will follow in California Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
