Flossie Mace Carver, 86 went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 16 at her residence. She was the daughter of William and Tilda Ingle Mace. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Glenn Carver; sisters, Gertie Honeycutt, Reallie Carver, Dalia Jenkins: brothers, Fred, Charlie, Luther and Eude Mace and a grandchild Dwight English. Mrs. Carver was a member of Laurel Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters; Brenda Galentine (Glenn), Linda Bailey (Robert), Ann Bailey (Johnny), Velda Rice (James), Cleva Carver (Mike Owen); brother, Floyd Mace; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great- grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The Reverends Clayton Castell and Kevin Boone will officiate. Burial will follow at Upper Laurel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

At other times the family will be at the home on 4 Hamburg Road, Weaverville, NC
