It is with broken hearts we announce that Foy Douglas Robinson, age 78, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born on August 21, 1945, in Buncombe County, to the late Claude Sebren and Bertha Ammons Robinson. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death is Darren Rudley, son-in-law.

Foy's main goal in life was living for his Lord and Savior. He was last a member of Aaron Baptist Church. He loved God's creation and was always working in his garden or doing yard work. He was a US Air Force Veteran and prior to retirement, he was the fleet manager for Bolton Services of WNC & R.E. Michael. After retirement, he drove a school bus for Weaverville Primary and Elementary Schools.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years; Carolyn Worley Robinson; daughters, Lisa Jarrett (Tim), of Weaverville, Patty Rudley of Greer, SC; son, Doug Robinson (Trish) of Weaverville; sisters, Gloria Burchette and Ruby Messer; granddaughters, Ashley Robinson and Megan Rudley; grandsons, Andrew Jarrett (Emily), Brandon Jarrett (Lindsay), Tyler Robinson (Becca) and Aaron Robinson and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 8, 2023 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. Wayne Cole will officiate the service. Military rites will follow.
