Frank Morgan, Jr., age 88, of Marshall, passed away at home with his wife by his side on November 11, 2023. He was born on September 3, 1935, in Madison County, to the late Frank and Effie McDaris Morgan.

Frank's long life was filled with love and care for Martha, his wife of 64 years, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many church friends. He served in the US Army. His careers included serving as a police officer, a deputy sheriff, a carpenter, and a farmer. However, his most important work was his relationship with his Lord and as a member and Deacon of Arrington Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Morgan; brothers, Coy,, Joe, and M.T.; and sisters, Myrtle and Ruth.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Bradley Morgan; daughter, Selena Elmore (Mitchell); son, Matthew Morgan (Hollie); sisters, Marie Rice, and Janette Fisher (Jerald); and grandchildren, Melissa Elmore, Kyle Elmore, Bristol Briggs, and Ridge Morgan.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at Arrington Branch Baptist Church. Reverends Brian Coates and Ken Parker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
