Gary Neil Payne, age 68, of Blountville, TN passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. He is the son of the late Monroe and Melva Buckner Payne.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fields Payne; daughter, Amanda Dodd (Evan); brothers, Danny Payne (Ruth Ann) and Gene Payne (Sharon); grandchildren, Lucas and Liam Dodd; niece, Amy Payne; and stepson, Steve Myers

Gary was an avid fisherman. He especially loved fishing on the river with his brothers. In addition, he was a wonderful cook and found great joy in being in the kitchen.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Red Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gene West officiating.
