Gary Dean Phillips, 70, of Marshall passed away at his residence on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was the son of the late Chester and Annie Hensley Phillips. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an uncle, Grady Hensley and an aunt, Robbie Hensley.

Gary is survived by a daughter, Mary Phillips; son, Kevin Yoder; grandchildren, Dean and Timmy Fox; uncles, Mike and Charlie Hensley; aunt, Emma Jean Maxwell and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 1, 2021, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754 to assist the family with final expenses.
