Genell Rice King, 70, of Marshall, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Bulah and Elizabeth Griffin Rice. In addition to her parents Genell was preceded in death by her husband, Junior King and her beloved son, Felix King.

She is survived by her grandson, Kaiden Dean King and his mother, Ginger Henson King; sister, Jeralene Gunter (Clarence); nieces, Crystal Holder and Kelly Hunter (Jonathan); special grandchildren, Sarah Holder, Matthew and Caleb Hunter and her faithful companions, Rowdy and Little Bit.

A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Steve Honeycutt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
