Glenna Cutshall, 90, of Marshall, went home to be with her Savior and Lord on September 10, 2026. She was born on January 26, 1936, in Madison County to the late Sherman and Mary Sanders Cutshall.

Glenna was a woman of deep and abiding faith, and her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life and cared for those around her. She dearly loved her church and church family, as well as the many friends she made throughout the years. Above all, Glenna treasured her family. She loved them wholeheartedly, and that love was returned to her many times over.

Glenna retired from Bussmann Corporation in Black Mountain after more than 40 years of dedicated service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cutshaw; brothers, Dean, Alvin, and Grover Cutshall; niece, Jennifer Shelton; nephews, Randy Cutshall and Terry Bowlin; great-niece, Stacie Goldsmith; sisters-in-law, Amanda Cutshall, Mary Cutshall, and Deborah Cutshall; and brothers-in-law, Robert Bowlin and Paul Burwell.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Buddy and Sherman Cutshall; sisters, Clesta Bowlin, Edith Rice (Spence), Thereasa Burwell, and Darlene Shelton (JB); sister-in-law, Zelma Cutshall; nephews, Darin, Scott Edward, Alvin, Brent, Jeremy, Craig, and Barry; nieces, Tina, Gina, Sherri and Diana; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; 11 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and one great-great-great-niece.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday September 15, 2026, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Raymond Cantrell and Isaac Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow in Lisenbee Cemetery in Spillcorn.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Shelton, Jacob Rice, Craig Cutshall, Barry Bowlin, Alvin Cutshall, Brent Cutshall, Caleb Shelton, and Douglas Cutshall.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
