Gordon G. Moore, 80, of Marshall, went home to be with the Lord on August 30, 2022. He was born on September 23, 1941, in Madison County. Gordon was a member of Bull Creek Baptist Church. He retired from American Enka Plant after 41 years. He is preceded in death by his parents: Sammy and Carrie Moore; as well as his brother, Roger D. Moore.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 59 years: Betty Ann Hunter Moore; daughters: Rhonda Merrill (Eric), Ann Moore; sons: Sam Moore (Kelli), John Moore (Sarah); all of Marshall. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Mackenzie, Maddie and Molly Moore and Bailey Merrill; special granddaughter: Sarah Caldwell; as well as nieces: Sonya DeBruhl, Shelly Buckner, Lisa Payne, and Kim Miller.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN – 38105.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
