Grace Mundy Hyder, 89, passed away on April 6, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Morris and Atlas Burrell Mundy; also preceded in death by her husband Richard Hyder who passed away in 2011. She was a lifelong member of Paint Fork Baptist Church.

Grace is survived by sons: Gerald Hyder (Linda), Gary Hyder (Kirsten); sister: Alma Coates (Larry); brothers: Willard Mundy (Mae) , Carroll Mundy; grandchildren: Rachel Spoltore (Ted), Scott Hyder (Amanda), Matt Hyder (Kimberly); great grandchildren: Taylor Spoltore (Terry Irwin), Emma, Oliver, Ethan and Reid Hyder.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev Larry Coates officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
