Mrs. Grace Lavina Burnette Lunsford, 89, of Weaverville, NC passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Weaverville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Eunice Cole Burnette. Grace was also preceded in death by her husband: Mack Sanford Lunsford, a son: Larry Lunsford, two sisters: Virginia Dills and Mary Dean Carter, and three brothers: Benjamin, Willie, and Carl Burnette. Grace was also a very gifted artist and leaves behind many beautiful paintings.

Grace is survived by two daughters: Teresa Rodrigues and Wanda Fones, five sons: Mike Lunsford, Don Lunsford and wife Fay, Thomas Lunsford, Chris Lunsford and wife Jennifer, and John Lunsford, ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of Grace's life will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with the Rev. Scotty Cole officiating. The Lunsford family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm prior to the service on Monday, December 5, 2022, at the funeral home.
