Gregory Kevin Smeltzer, age 36, of Mars Hill NC, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Gregory was born October 1, 1986, in Buncombe County. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, Dallas Cowboys and Nascar. Gregory worked in the construction business as a roofer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Oval and Jesse Chandler, Ruth and Don Smeltzer, and brother Henry Davis.

He is survived by parents Charles E and Sandra Chandler Smeltzer, his three daughters: Jaylan Samson, Karma Blackwell, and Adaline Webb; brother: Gary Davis (Valerie); several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

His service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverend Kermit Ball officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
