Harold Eugene Lawrence, 77, of Weaverville, passed away on January 6, 2022. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Aletha Waldrop Lawrence. Harold was a US Army Veteran.

Harold is survived by his wife of 56 and a half years: Joyce Lawrence; two daughters: Traci Wilson (Daryl) and Julie Kendrick (Craig); two sons: Tommy Lawrence (Julie) and Jeff Lawrence and his daughters: Dallie Shuford and Maggie Lawrence; one twin brother: Carroll Lawrence; three sisters: Jean Cordray, Glenda Embree, Joan Lawrence and special sister Peggy Gentry as well as his grandchildren: Madison Kendrick, Morgan Kendrick, Garret Wilson, and Colby Wilson.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Pastor Colby Wilson and Rev. Stacey Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm until 2:00pm prior to the service Monday, January 10, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshall, NC.
