IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hazel
Bradley
April 28, 1942 – September 2, 2015
Hazel Ramsey Bradley, 73 of 3790 Grapevine Road, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She had been preparing for this day since she was seven years old. In 1949 she accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and if you had ever talked to her, she would have told you how good God has been to her and how much she loved her church. Hazel attended Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved the people there and her pastor very much. She was a native of Madison County and preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Margie Honeycutt Ramsey, infant son, Eddie Dewayne Bradley, and one sister Martha Parker. She worked in home health care for 26 years.
Mrs. Bradley is survived by her husband of 56 years; Hershel Bradley. They had a bond that could only be described by seeing them together and if you saw one, the other was always close by. In addition to her husband she is survived by; sons; Robert Bradley (Deb) and Tommy Bradley (Laura), daughters; Sheila Young (Will), Melissa Allison, Monica Hall (Roddrick) and one she thought of as her own, Leeanne Briggs (Stephen); grandchildren, Stacy Honeycutt (Molly), Casey Honeycutt (Becky), Robert Bradley, Jr. (Josie), Kristin Davis (Jason), Sierra Music (JC), Madison Bradley, Megan, Mayson Briggs and Crystal Ball, great grandchildren; Rawleigh, Lyric and Qyairus Hall and Lily, Lainy, Lydia Bradley, Kaylie and Brantly, sisters; Katherine Coates and Mary Paris; brother, Bill Ramsey; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly. She loved her family second only to the Lord.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Phillip Parker, Ken Parker and Robert Bradley, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bradley Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday.
