Helen Lewis Fish, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Andy and Hattie Crowe Lewis. She was also preceded in death by husband, Billy Charles Beck and daughter, Teresa Guthrie; sisters, Pansy Dale, Thelma Ponder and Marie Willis; brothers, Junior and RJ Lewis. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She retired in 1996 from Madison County Schools as a Parental Coordinator in Education. Helen was an avid gardener who loved being outside and enjoying nature. She was a faithful member of Newfound Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. Helen was also a member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.

Helen is survived by her beloved husband, Owen Fish; daughters, Fredia Higgins (Randy), Lisa Oke (Edward) , Pam Parris (Mikel), Tammy Robinson (Richard); son, Bill Beck (Tracy); grandchildren, Jacqueline Gaines, Josh Meadows, Lauren Higgins, Crystal Thomas, Stephanie Thomas, Billy Beck, Andrew Beck, Courtney Parris, Kaylee Parris: Great Grandchildren, Ashley Beane, Treavor Thomas, McKala Crump, Aniya Robinson, Isaac Robinson, Israel Meadows, Zeke Thomas, Amira Thomas: great great grandchildren, Caden Beane, Jaxon Beane and Rose Beane; sister, Dorothy Thorpe (Kenneth) and brother, David Lewis (Jane).

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Newfound Baptist Church. Reverends Bradley Johnson, Jeff Maynard and her grandson Josh Meadows will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00pm Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Newfound Baptist Church. At other times the family will receive friends at her home.
