IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Helen June
Wallin
September 24, 1952 – October 31, 2024
Helen Ballew Wallin, born September 24, 1952, entered into her heavenly home on October 31, 2024 surrounded by family.
Helen was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Ducker and a native of Weaverville, NC. Along with her husband, Helen lived in Germany, Kansas, and Marshall, NC before settling back in her hometown. She lived close to family and enjoyed any time they spent visiting with her. Conversation with her was always filled with care, concern, humor, lots of love and a little spunk, too.
Helen had a personal relationship with Jesus and was dedicated to sharing His love with others. To have been loved by her was to have experienced the love of Jesus. Helen was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend among many other things.
Aside from her relationship with Jesus, Helen cherished her family more than anything. She dedicated her life to caring for, loving, and praying for them. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Jerry; sons, Gene (Ginger), Stevie (Tina), Jamie, Kevin (Katrina), and John (Kailey); special niece, Michelle; grandchildren, Ariel, Cassie (Bill), Stephanie (Cody), Danielle (Justin), Caitlyn (Brandon), Ashleigh (Alex F.), Matthew, Austin, Alex (Rosa), Jaxon, Emma, Brock, and Everly; great-grandkids, Monica, Jessie, Mason, Bitty, Anna, Mallory, Benny, and CJ; sisters, Mollie, Irene, and Cecilia; special cousin, Ann; and many more dearly loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, November 9, 2024 in Union Valley Freewill Baptist Church at 159 Ox Creek Road, Weaverville, NC 28787. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.blueridgefuneralservice.org.
