Howard Charles Adams, 65, of Mars Hill, NC passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. Howard was the son of the late Arthur and Ora Grindstaff Adams. Howard was of the Baptist faith and loved his grandchildren, enjoyed camping, and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents Howard was preceded in death by a brother: Art Adams, Jr.

Howard is survived by his loving wife: Annette Shook Adams; mother-in-law: Verna Shook; two sons: Bryan Adams and wife Kristy and Russell Adams and wife Carrie; two grandsons: Bryan Hernandez and Chase Adams; and one brother: Jerry Adams and wife Cheryl.

A graveside funeral will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022, at 2:00pm at Shook Cemetery in the Upper Laurel Community with the Rev. Cline Hensley officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 12:00pm until 5:00pm at the home of Bryan Adams, 7325 US 23 Hwy., Mars Hill, NC.
