Howard Carver, 82, passed away on August 17, 2025. He was born on June 20, 1943, to the late Albert and Minnie Carver. He was a self-employed painter for 47 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two daughters, Pamela Carver and Angela Carver Silver; sisters, Jean Carver Sexton, Kate Carver, Glenna Carver Bates; and brother Pat Carver.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Tipton Carver; granddaughter Amanda and husband Bruce Vaughn and brothers, Vernon Carver, Bobby Carver and John Carver; and a special niece, Barbara Lusk and Gene as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 11am on Wednesday August 20, 2025, at the Little Ivy Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Chuck Aldridge.
