Hubert Burl Raby,61,of 5E Stewart St. died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, December 31, 2011. He was the son of the late Oscar A. and Inez Taylor Raby and was also preceded in death by his wife Maxine Keith Raby and one sister Peggy Rice. Mr. Raby was a US Army veteran.
Mr. Raby is survived by his daughter; Angie Chambers (Walter, Jr.), sons; Brian Raby (Kellie), Daniel Raby (Candice), Jack and Jerry Clark, brothers; Yuell Raby (Roberta), Bobby Raby (Joan), Joel Raby (Diane), 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 2:30pm, Saturday, January 7, 2012 At Sanctify Baptist Church, 238 Monticello Rd., Weaverville, NC.
