Ina "Dink" Metcalf, 94, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019. He is the son of the late Dewey and Bertha Mace Metcalf. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ingle Metcalf; son, Ken Metcalf; sister, Deali Norton; and brothers, Porter, Chever, Herschel, Grant, and Ed Metcalf. He was a very Godly man, a great teacher, and a fantastic father and grandfather.

Dink is survived by his grandchildren, Evetta Metcalf, Stephanie Maynard, and Melisa Barker; great grandchildren, Trisha Morris, Andrea Naassan, Damian Maynard, and Jade Hentley; great-great grandchildren, Jamie Rae Bryant, Macey Reece, Makeira Morris, and Harvey Huntley.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Pastors Raymond Cantrell and David Watson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ivy Ridge Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

At other times the family will be at the home of Evetta Madden at 396 Ivy Ridge Church Road, Mars Hill, NC.
