Irene Fisher Bechtol, 85, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Madison Health and Rehabilitation. She was a native of Madison County and daughter of the late Quillen and Ada Riddle Fisher. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Lisa, sons; Victor, Michael and Phillip, sister; Dorothy, brothers; Ed and Bruce and grandson, Christopher Bechtol. She is survived by daughters; Theresa Bechtol, Treva Murray(Vance), Vivian Lunsford, Regina Bailey (Ricky), Vickie Jane Lively, sons; Landon Bechtol (Linda) and Vincent Bechtol (Phyllis), sisters; Nina Swann, Pat Ramsey, Margaret Waldroup and Judy King, seventeen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 27, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Woody Dillingham and Charlie Rice will officiate. Burial will follow in the Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
