James "Daniel" Carver, age 80, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024. He was a son of the late Rev. Claude and Dolly Shook Carver born July 17, 1943, in Madison County.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Hoy Carver, Neal Carver, Dewey Carver, Flo Arrington, Landon Carver, and Glenna Mace.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Teresa Lyn Carver; daughters, Teresa Bryson, Darlene Cullins (Clarence) and Tonya McNalley; sons, Gregory, David, Hoy, Scotty (Shawna), Jacob (Taylor), and Benjamin Carver; siblings, Wilma Orr, Ronnie Carver (Deedee), Francis Elaine Bradley (Roger) and Leroy Dewayne Carver (Judy); several grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as his special friend, Edward Rader.

The family will have visitation on Friday July 5, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service, 7626 Hwy 213, Mars Hill, NC.
