James Dewey Davis, 76, of Marshall passed away Friday, February 25,2022. James was born November 27, 1945, to the late William and Verna Massey Davis. He was a lifelong member of Caney Fork Baptist Church.

James is survived by his wife: Shirley Thompson Davis; sons: Bobby, Scott and Brian Davis; sisters: Georgette Ramsey, Janice Sherlin; granddaughter: Sydni Davis; sisters in laws: Linda Sexton and Lori Thompson.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Reverend Joe Sluder of Caney Fork Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
