James Harold "Jim" Buckner, 79, of Marshall passed away August 24, 2023. He was the son of the late Albun and Laura Silver Buckner.

Jim was the co-owner and operator of HABCO, Inc., a member of Bull Creek Missionary Baptist, a Veteran of the US Army Reserve, and a member of the Mt. Herman Masonic Lodge #188 AF/AM.

Jim was a loving generous man who enjoyed staying busy and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his Mack truck and antique cars. His humor and love will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy Ward Buckner; a daughter, Jennifer Radcliff (Alan); a son, Jeff Buckner (Brittany House); brother, Bruce Buckner (Darlene); grandchildren, Shane Payne (Amber), Amber Radcliff; great grandchildren, Kamdyn and Silas Payne; nephews, Tyler Buckner (Erica) and Blake Buckner (Monica); 18 additional nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews and many beloved brothers and sisters in law.

A funeral service will be held 2:30pm Monday, August 28, 2023, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Jerry Shelton, Dennis Anderson and Kevin Boone will officiate. The burial will follow in the Bull Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5-7:00pm Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
