James Frank Hylton, 78, of Marshall, passed away July 8, 2020. He was the son of the late Cornel and Cellia Burrell Hylton. Mr. Hylton was a United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma (Hamlin) Hylton; sisters, Ellie Brown, Maude Woody, Ruby Roberts and Annie Metcalf.

He is survived by daughters, Roxanne English (Eldridge) and Janie Silvers (Keith); sisters, Viola Rice (Carmen), Berla Cox (Gary) and Ruth Edwards; brother, CB Hylton; grandchildren, Clint English (Heather), Brooke English, Brandon Silvers (Taru), Thomas Silvers (Ashley) and Leah Silvers; great grandchildren, Kason Silvers and Parker Braxton; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Judy Crowder.

A funeral service will be held 12:00pm Friday, July 10, 2020 at Laurelton Chapel. Revs. Cline Junior Hensley and Gordon Peek will officiate. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
