James Frank Ramsey, 88, of Little Ivy Church Rd., passed away June 30, 2015. Mr. Ramsey was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the son of the late Frank and Lenora Wilson Ramsey. James was a retired dairy farmer and a lifelong member of Little Ivy Baptist Church, where he was the oldest Deacon. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Iris Radford and brothers, Billy and Fred Ramsey. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Katherine Jarvis Ramsey and sister, Eloise Ramsey. A funeral service will be held 7:00pm Friday, July 3, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Scott Dotson, Woody Dillingham and Gene Edwards will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will be held 11:00am Saturday, July 4, at Little Ivy Baptist Church Cemetery.
