James "Jim" Houston Williams, 80, of Weaverville, NC, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2024. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and the son of the late Houston and Eva Ponder Williams. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers, David, J.B., and Bobby Williams.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tena Burke Williams; daughter, Jessica Ramsey (Brandon); son, Chad Williams; sisters, Pat Kohler (Richard) and Peggy Williams (Jobeel Martinez); sister-in-law, Alice Williams; and grandchildren, Landon and Mason Ramsey.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, October 18, 2024, at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverend Brent Snyder will officiate.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
