MAIDEN/MARSHALL: James Henry Willis, 65 of 5545 Buck's Garage Rd. Maiden NC passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011. He was the son of the late Henry and Virgie Robinson Willis. He was also proceeded in death by a brother Billy and sisters Marie, Violet and Louise.

Surviving is his wife, Evelyn Collins Willis, daughters; Wendy Laughter of Marshall, Candy Willis of Alexander, Cindy Roberts of Weaverville, Jennifer Bell of Maiden, Beth Green and Ronda Collins of Granite Falls, Michelle Kirby of Lenoir and a special adopted daughter Teresa Baker of Morganton,14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers; Burdette Willis of Asheville and Junior Willis of Marshall, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Blue Ridge Funeral Service, Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel. Rev. Albert Roberts will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Service, Mars Hill, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
