Jim Winker, of Azalea Circle, Marshall NC age 65, passed peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Mission Hospital. He was reunited with his parents Bob and Patricia Moore, as well as his best friend and brother Robbie Winker. Jim loved to cook and was an active Uncle and Great Uncle. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, who made connections through the love of the sport.

He leaves behind his brother John Winker, his sisters Barbara Edwards (Manuel Edwards), and Cathy Ledford, his sister-in-law and best friend, Cindy Winker, her sons Nicholas and Justin, and their wives and children. He also will be missed by his son Jimmy Winker (Stephanie Winker), his daughter, Christina Winker, and 4 grandchildren, Jaylyn, Valerie, Hank, and Charlie. Jim's life will be remembered by close friends and family at his final place in God's Acre, as well as a final trip to the Dolphins' stadium with his son.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Rector's Chapel Cemetery, 2358 Rector Corner Road, Marshall, NC 28753.
